When a 19-year-old Kurt Donald Cobain met the originally Yugoslavian yet Los Angeles-born Krist Novoselic in 1986, the legend of Nirvana was an embryo that would very soon grow up into a band-baby after the joining of Dave Grohl, the magical drummer. the band itself had its very first cry in Aberdeen, Washington, Kurt's natal town. By 1991, Nirvana had a place not only nationally, but its fame penetrated the States borders, thanks to the then hit album Nevermind.
